Born in Domremy, France in 1412 a chaste, courageous Christian, at age 13 she heard the voices of Saints calling her to frequent the Sacraments and to undertake the liberation of France from Britain.
Cutting her hair and riding under a banner that read “Jesus, Mary” and “In the Name of the King of Heaven,” she began her military campaign at 16, leading her army to win impressive battles including Orleans which restored the French King.
